1. when did you open shop? Moondrop Clothiers LLC is a woman-owned, family supported, web-only operation established in 2003.

2 what is youre best seller? Every item at Moondrop Clothiers LLC is hand-chosen for its quality, style, useful nature, and/or unique flair. Our best sellers are the Fair Trade 24 Karat Gold Plate & Sterling Silver Natural Orchid Flower Necklaces. They are handcrafted in Thailand and designed by jewelry artisan Danai Leosawathiphong, who decided to offer something representative of the area he grew up, and came up with the idea of covering natural products such as exotic flowers and plants with gold and silver. 3 when did you become a crafter? Although we are not crafters ourselves, we strongly support independant art and showcase handmade goods from artists across the U.S. We are also proud to offer authentic Fair Trade global goods as a viable buying alternative to our customers. Each beautiful piece is individually handcrafted by talented craftspeople from around the world and supports low-income artisans and their families by providing sustainable employment opportunities, safe working conditions, and a fair wage.

4 what does diy mean to you? Having vast retail experience from consumer to corporate, we wanted to create an awareness of the impact our shopping choices can have on the environment and the less fortunate people of the world. We want our customers to have a fun, colorful, and unique place to shop while having the satisfaction of choosing to support an independant Green business with a purpose to help preserve the earth. Since there didn't seem to be enough socially-conscious as well as earth-friendly businesses out there: we DID IT OURSELVES!

Our shop's name is a combination of the Hippie (Moondrop) and City Chic (Clothiers) aspect of our store. We are designed to suit just about EVERYONE's fancy from men to women to children alike!
