1 Did you go to school for what you make now? Oh, no way! I was a journalism major in college.

2 what got you into making bags? Bags are useful. And I'm kind of a cheapskate. Why should I go out and spend tons of money on a bag when I can make one myself? When I was in high school, I wanted a makeup bag and didn't have the cash for one, so I crocheted one myself. A couple of years ago, a bag I used to carry my dance shoes broke, so instead of buying a dance bag, I crocheted one. Crochet is useful like that.

3 Do you design youre web site? Yes. I love web design.

4what do you like about crafting? It's fun and relaxing. And I feel a sense of accomplishment when I look at a finished piece.

5 How long does it take you to make a bag? It depends. Crocheted bags, maybe a few hours. (I'm a fast crocheter.) A knitted and felted bag? About three days.
