1When did you open shop?
I officially sold my first item online in November 2005. The site still needed a little something extra, though. I added my drink recipes section (all items are named after mixed drinks and people were looking for a quick way to access the recipes) and my blog in February 2006, making the site complete.
2 What demographic do you sell the most to?
Ladies of all ages! Jewelry is such a universal thing. When I first started, I didn’t know what to expect. But I’ve had customers of all kinds, from young fashionistas in their early 20s to ladies who could be their moms or grandmas! I’d have to say the bulk is in the late 20s/early 30s range.
3if you made $1000 in 4 days what would you do?
I would go on a bead binge to be reckoned with. I’ve been doing a lot of window, well … browser, shopping lately. There are so many beads and pendants I would love to add to my collection. If I made that $1,000 in 4 days, it’s a safe bet that on the fifth day I’d be in my pajamas doing a lot of online supply shopping for Girls’ Night.
4 what is youre favorite item you make?
Definitely the necklaces. I have a real addiction to pendants, whether they are gemstone, porcelain tile, vintage Lucite, whatever! Necklaces to me are like a puzzle. I have this beautiful pendant, and I have to put together the right pieces to find the best way to show it off. I have actually put together some necklaces a few times before I considered them “finished.”
5 what 3 worlds describe youre items?
Vibrant, delicious, addictive
